Apple Cider!

Ted Leipprandt sorts apples for the cider at Liepprandt Orchards in Pigeon, MichiganAlmost every day, someone tells us that our cider tastes so much better than another cider that they bought in the grocery store. We're pleased, but we are not surprised. Frankly there is as much difference in cider as there is in apples, and we take a great deal of pride in each and every pressing.

First, we are careful to clean and sanitize every piece of equipment before and after each pressing. Then we make certain we maintain a careful balance of sweet and tart apples to achieve the taste that keeps our customers coming back.

We like to think that this "handcrafting" is why our cider tastes so much better than others. As cider makers we take this responsibility seriously and are proud to be one of the 25 cider mills in the state that are members of the Michigan Cider Makers Guild.

If your family is like ours, the holidays are a very special time. The aromas and tastes of holiday meals are made special with all of the little details that one would normally not encounter the rest of the year. Since we began handcrafting our "Holiday Cider," it has become a tradition that is served at many Thanksgiving and Christmas family gatherings.
